We get stuck.  People get stuck, perhaps in the ruts of habits that hold us back in the past or stuck in the repetitive cycle of today and every day, with little memory of the past or the hope of tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow.  Alternatively, we might get stuck in the future, not being thankful to God for the blessings He has given us in the past or the smell of roses today.  Just stuck.  So how do we and people groups move forward, progressively and aggressively?  Is it not the very righteous and justice God holds as anchors, unto Jesus’ aim for us,  “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.  This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.”
Father in Heaven, thank You for Your Kingdom standards of righteousness and judgment, founded on love, and exercised by faith.  Guide our hearts to seek You and Your Kingdom.
God’s people continue to be challenged to “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see.  For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you.  All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.”  This radiance has happened before, but not like it will when Jesus returns.  Be balanced, appreciating the past, living your life every day in His presence, and with the eternal hope of His adoptive presence through Christ, where “No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the LORD your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.  Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down.  For the LORD will be your everlasting light.  Your days of mourning will come to an end.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭12‬, ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬, ‭3, 60‬:‭19‬-‭20, Matthew 5:16 NLT‬‬
