We often consider an advance being a financial transaction, a payment prior to the anticipated work to be completed.  An advance is also a military term, being “forward, ho!” I remember one leader wanting to take his staff on a retreat, but refused to call it anything but, an advance!  Some would say God is not engaging.  However, His record reveals otherwise, having acted in advance.

“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.  This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.”  And so He does, pre-planned, in advance.  In another recording we discover, “You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
Father, “How precious are your thoughts about me.  They cannot be numbered!” Thank You for Your faithful loving kindness to each of us, new every morning. 
Before the Flood, who planned the ark?  Who was the first on the ark?  God Himself had drawn all “kinds” in, eight people being last, before closing the ramp and having said in advance, “Come thou and all thy house into the ark.”  “My soul, wait thou only upon God; For my expectation is from Him.”  Expect, look ahead, His presence is always in advance.
